Isn't he the same as Cook? who didn't get any playing time.

    Whatever the hell that means...

Why would coming back to your hometown to play be a distraction?

Plus he's on an expiring, once he leaves we'll have that much more cap space to play with this summer so who cares.

Low risk. The reward depends on how he shoots if he gets here. Gotta love Boobie though. Good shooter, could give Harden some rest if we play small some.

Not sure why anybody would still think that, let alone Morey.

Every stretch of games when the Rockets have experimented with extended use of Harden as PG with a fellow guard spotting up, be it Lin, Uglas, or Beverley, the Rockets have utterly and completely flopped. I am not sure why they would think that epic fail strategy would just suddenly work with Gibson.

looks like harden is about to be shipped. lex industries wants to run run run, can't run with the teen wolf set, so boobie makes sense.

(insert reverse reverse anti lin logic)

Yes to Sam A'k > Sam A'o. I know Sam of this article. Terrific fellow who has build himself a nice career in greater Cleveland from being a fan. However, he is not Woj (but I prefer him to Broussard even if his forum is much more greatly limited; at least he doesn't shill for shill's sake).

Gotta love Boobie...Gibson. But, realistically, what would be on offer to make a deal?

I don't see the point in Gibson. One dimensional shooter, really good at that one dimension though. But doesnt play defense, a very average free throw shooter considering his 3 pt range, has gotten worse the past few years.

If they see some kind of small Carlos Delfino role-player upside, can understand that. The upside is that he's been bad so he has nowhere to go but up.

The only thing I see them considering is Gibson played his best next to superstar swingman Lebron, so maybe similarly he'd play better next to star swingman in James Harden,

uh...Because he's 40% 3 point shooter? Harden has the ability to play PG if he decides to pass out the ball before 2 or 3 defender closing in. MacHale should let Lin come off bench and play 25~30 min so there are at least 10 min for both Harden and Lin on the court separately. We've seen how good they can be running offense individually.

I liked his reality show with his wife, he seemed like a nice guy. Low risk player, why not?!

um ...that would be a very bad trade for us. Gibson is an expiring contract. You don't give up much for an average player on an expiring contract. You certainly don't give up Pat ...who despite not being Lamarcus Aldridge, is still the best 4 we have in our lineup right now, and has arguably shown more upside than Morris.

Gibson would play the backup 2, considering Delfino is the backup 3.

Undersized bench lineup, yes, but Gibson would give us another quality shooter

What would be the difference between him and Toney Douglas?

Should just ship lin if half the team is the pg position.

Depends. If The Boobster (welcome home, kid, if this happens), gives 18 mpg at the 1 and 2, and gets re-signed @ a manageable contract...well, we have too many 4' s anyway. You know Morey won't keep Ppat past another season anyway.

Draft, develop, wipe, flush. Repeat until 2nd All Star obtained.

Thanks Clutch. These people think they're Janet Jackson, but you're the one in Control.
