You still didn't get it right, unless I am misunderstanding. 2 road wins = 2 points, yes? And a home loss = 2 points? Lakers Home score would be 10, yes, but 3-1 on the road would equal 5, not 1, making the Lakers' score 15. Looks like the others you fixed ok.
1 road win = 2 points 1 road loss = -1 point 1 home win = 1 point 1 home loss = -2 points So Lakers get: 6 points for 3 road wins -1 point for 1 road loss 14 points for 14 home wins -4 points for 2 home losses 15 total points. You are correct and I need to quit this game. But you get the point. Rudy T believed road games should be valued differently than home games.
The Rockets schedule begins to get easier with Philly and Toronto, but they need to win these game.......let's see if they can keep the effort up against the lower level teams that will be the key to the season. DD
Our major flaws as a team over the last few years is playing well against the top teams, but failing against the lower teams. Do not be fooled by the 'easier' schedule.
But so far this season we have done extremely well against the lower echelon opponents. With the exception of Sac we have not lost to any of them.
it's about the availability of the Staples Center. Lakers/Clippers/LA Kings/concerts/awards they take an extended road trip when the Grammy's are in town. just like when the Spurs can't play in their building 'cause of the rodeo or something like that...
ok. sorry abt bumping this thread.. but just thought i could pass this on "By my system, Houston has played the hardest schedule in the NBA (1.9 ppg harder than average). The Lakers have played the easiest (-1.7)." says Kevin Pelton of Basketball Prospectus. so we are doing a good job indeed.
