Yao is out for the season. He was the one guy people outside of Houston wanted to see. Since Yao first joined the Rockets, we have usually been on 10 or more nationally televised games every year. Shaq vs Yao 1 broke many nielson records for a sports event on cable tv.

    this is absurd...
I imagined this year our national TV games would drop, but ZERO?
come on! NBA is flat out manipulated by money and markets, it's not about bball at all.

Then we wouldn't have gotten the medical expection to sign trevor ariza, andersen, and our draft picks. MLE alone would not be enough.

even if we make the playoffs expect most of the nba tv playoff games to be Rockets games unless we draw the Lakers in the first round.

As a GM, Morey is smart, but he is also inexperienced.

Rox might not be in bottom 5, but they have no stars. I bet ESPN rather hype up Durant and Thunders than no name Rox.

also has there ever been a playoff team that had 0 nat'l tv appearances for the season?

i'm confident we'll still be a playoff team.

It's okay...The Rockets will have the last laugh.

Morey has so many options to improve this team BEYOND this upcoming season it'd be hard to fail.

Hard to believe that a top 5 market and top 10 NBA franchise can't get no love...not ONE game. I understand the dire situation the team is in...but not ONE game? Not even after the team pushed the Lakers to 7 games and lost Yao for HALF the series?

A lot of other fans I see talking mess now, they are going to find out the hard way next year that this is the last team you should be marking "Ws" down in advance. Pretty sure the Lakers learned that lesson the hard way.

True. No "stars" to draw the audiences. It seems even the NBA is not giving the Rockets any chance next year. If I remember right, this would be the first year in years that the Rockets would not come out on National TV. :(
