In Yao and Tmac's first season together we had almost over 15 nationally televised games. Oh, how we have fallen.

    T'Wolves?

    Wow. You can't be serious.

They are seriously telling us that a Lakers vs. Rockets, Celtics vs. Rockets, Cavaliers vs. Rockets game wouldn't be fun to watch?

no we get plenty of love and airtime when tmac/yao were healthy

no yao, no tmac, and off course, no ron artest

this is to be expected that we don't get any national tv games.. it's just like the 90s again.

Well this is part of the reason too... ABC is only airing 15 NBA games all season.

I wasn't expecting many, but I expected atleast a Rockets Vs Lakers rematch nationally televised. I mean, for one, it is the Lakers and they have like 90% of there season nationally televised. For two, the Rockets and Lakers basically traded Artest for Ariza.

direct from the brains of ESPN:
Sure, they might have pushed the eventual-champion Lakers to seven games in the conference semifinals, but with Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady on the mend and Ron Artest's having flown the coop, the Rockets now apparently have no national appeal at all. None. Their total number of national television appearances on ABC/ESPN and Turner Sports: zero.

Also getting the Rockets treatment (no nationally televised games, unless you include NBA TV) are a few teams you probably wouldn't want to watch anyway: New Jersey, Sacramento, Milwaukee and Charlotte.

watching nba games just became that much harder for a non-usa-resident fan

Does League Pass guarantee all of the Rockets' games?

I looked in to it, and it offers 40 games/week, but I want to know if I'll be able to watch all of the Houston games...

as long as we (Houston) can watch the games, why should we care about national televised games? :D

You got to be kidding me. Not even one? That's ridicilous.

Ok, we will not have Yao but give us some RESPECT.

The western media is beyond the gates of hell to begin with, and now with no "stars" we're left out in the dark. It's like flipping the bird to us and all the fans abroad.
