If our players were HALF the WHINERs you guys are I might agree Rocket River BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM "Highway 6 runs both ways" "Tired of BAMing Rocket so called fans" - Rocket River
A lot of people are asking EXACTLY that question. Based upon the last few weeks, JVG is more Larry Smith than Larry Brown.
Our best player have no heart while our second best player have no head. Hardly get any excitement on this team.
Agree with what? Rocket River most of your posts are relatively comprehensible, but this one seems a bit chemically enhanced. Nevertheless, as the Rockets proceed down the royal road to the playoffs, I hope they are wearing rear view mirrors because they are making at least two teams really excited. Don't look now but Denver and Utah are not too far behind and we play them both.
We just missed the playoffs last season, to make this years goal to simply make the playoffs, would not set the bar very high. The teams play is what's most important, and frankly, it still sucks.
can we count on you to stop posting if they do? what a bunch of whiners we have in this forum. everyone knew we played 11 of the final 16 on the road and that the schedule sucked coming down the stretch. and everyone's already complained enough. needed to add some more whining on top of it, eh? waaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh
No such luck, I'm going to keep posting til Steve Francis is elected to be the President of the United States. I assume that is your goal as well.
Do you think it's the 8-9 man rotation working a defensive grind all season at fault? I thought we had an athletic crew, but the mental and physical fatigue has been apparent. Maybe a second wind will come in the playoffs. That or a quick exit.
Yep, the schedule sucks. However, a year ago, 11 of the final seventeen were on the road, exactly the same as this season. Without their head coach, they went 8-9. JVG needs to lead the troops to a 5-1 finish to EQUAL Larry Smith "down the stretch."
Thanks for saying that. I hate the term choke city. I can't stand it when people use it. This losing streak won't grow anymore, the Rox will win. Though, I have to admit this current streak has taken away the "fun" in the Rockets.....I mean with the Astros now playing I was anticipating the Astros games more than the next Rocket's game. I don't even know when our next game is, perhaps tuesday or wednesday. I better check so I can tune in. Gawd, I hope we win.
And we all want it to revisit us, to come home. Re-mapping will be required in the offseason. Once you have seen it on the court it is hard to settle for anything less. And I am not talking about "winning championships," I am talking about playing strong, playing smart, and being aggressively competitive. I want a team that other teams hate to play, win or lose. A team with fire in their eyes and magic in their hands. But you can't bake a pie without "all" the ingredients. The Rockets are closer than they have been in the last five years, but still "no cigar." It is still not over, but if they lose to the Clippers and the Warriers, for all practical purposes, it will be.
OK moonbeamers where are you? We all need some encouraging words. Tell us that how being stuffed by the Warriers has a silver lining. Tell us how the Rockets are an "absolute" lock for the playoffs. Bring it on. I want to hear again that all this team needs is some time and the patience of its fans. Let's talk about that. No changes, no adjustments, no trades because how much better can it get?! How about five more years, or make it ten. Let's just go for twenty.
