Not sure if any of you watched the ESPYs last night or caught it, but the Rockets made 2 very important appearances.

The first I saw was during the nominations for play of the year.

Lillard's ****ing buzzer-beater on our ALL-STAR Future Franchise Player Chandler Parsons.....wait.....

and the winner of the Comeback Player of the Year - Russel Westbrook came back and had an outstanding season after a season ending knee injury the year before. They showed the "incident" and wouldnt you know it, there is my defensive beast bro PBev cut-blocking westbrook across the knees diving for the ball.

Good showing Houston. At least we were shown more than the Mavs.. and Cavs..

Just letting you know that 98% of the people on this board (including myself) don't watch the ESPYs. No one cares about ESPN's joke of an award show that was created so they'd have something to talk about during the MLB all star break.

And you're still salty about the PBev play! Well I guess you'd rather have a team of low energy, soft players. As said by Pat, he has to play with high defensive intensity every second. It's his style that took him from St. Petersburg, Russia to second team All NBA defense.

And we all know Parsons isn't an all star level player. Look at the poll in the threads about matching Parsons' contract. A majority of us knew it wasn't feasible to sign Parsons to that money and eliminate all that future flexibility. Bosh's commitment to Miami left our management to ponder if a Harden/Parsons/Howard trio could lead a team to a championship. They IMO made the right decision.

    Couple of things...

    1. all awards shows are jokes, it was on tv, no games of any kind were on, i was bored, watched the espys... so sue me, no need to get antsy and prove how cool you are by only watching quality television like "party down south" and "the bachelorette"

    2. It was a joke about us being shown in the background of plays that were winning things. Im not salty at all about bev's defense, glad to have it! Ppl get hurt all the time why would I be mad at bev for trying his best, I just thought it was funny we were represented even in such a random small fashion such as "the injury that caused him to win comeback player of the year"

    3. The Parson's thing was ALSO A JOKE (i feel like you have trouble picking up on sarcasm or something) but I agree with everything that has gone on, I think its funny that his last play ever as a rocket was missing that defensive stop.. and... again.. it was funny we were represented so randomly.

    4. no need to get all up in my grill , this cant possibly be the most r****ded thread posted, just trying to have a little fun. take ur judgemental attitude to the thread about what we should do this free agency.
