I really don't see Phoenix getting 3 actual first rounders for Durant. Perhaps in "player equivalence" it makes up 3 picks total. I wouldn't give up the 10 pick this year. Too much chance of Durant getting injured and missing the season to make it worthwhile. Jalen + Jabari plus one of their 27 or 29 picks back. Then do the flip with PHX to get Johnson and 19 for 10 and we're in business
Really nervous we are about to go from one of the next young promising teams to a 2-3 year crash out with Ime controlling the roster. Stone should make him choose between FVV & KD. Having both on the roster is to risky with both missing 20+ games in a cut throat west
Phx should want FVV so Booker stops playing PG - already have Booker and Beal they don’t need another SG … and I’m sending Tari or Cam over Bari everyday of the week
Disagree. They retain Booker who is much better than FVV and add two starters. Jalen won’t be the no. 1 target for defenses. Their coach whoever it will be will not ignore Jabari in the offense. In addition, they will have picks to make another trade. They won’t be great, but have a good shot at the play-in or even playoffs. Our fans vastly underrate what Jalen and Jabari can do offensively with a decent offensive coach and how much better player Booker is than FVV. This would be a massive overpay for Durant.
It’s only a desperation move if they overpay. ESPN trades are almost always sh*t. They are just clickbait artists. If the Rockets are stupidly enough to trade both Jalen and Jabari and picks for Durant, they deserve to lose their jobs. Since you can’t pay all the really good young players we have, it is reasonable to trade one as long as Durant doesn’t demand an extension of more than 1 season.
Phoenix would be extremely stupid to take that deal even over and offer of FVV, filler, and #10, but they are extremely stupid so maybe.

Yeah FVV gumming up the deal just like he does our offense. The Ime/FVV love affair needs to broken up for the good of the team.
He wouldn’t be just a catch and shoot guy. Durant would open up the floor and Jalen would have both the opportunity for more catch and shoot and less double teams for his drives. If you get Durant it needs to be FVV and filler plus pick(s) or at worst Dillon and filler plus picks.
