Seeing the future when KD can't play in the playoffs due to a quad or calf injury and everyone complains we gave up JG and Bari for nothing.
Big 3 could still work, unfortunately the ones available are usually the oft injured ones to team up. Kahwi, PG, KD, Beal. Miami's Big 3 of Lebron, Bosth and Wade were all in their prime and healthy.
Seeing a future where Booker/ Green/ Jabari/ #10 are a better team than the Rockets after we try to crash out with FVV & KD 1-2 years to be left scrambling trying to rebuild around Amen & Sengun Trading Jalen & Jabari over Fred is so dumb. I don’t care if KD gets hurt as long as I still have a core
I wouldn't trade Tari for KD straight up. If the phoenix is asking for more than salary matching and number 10 pick I'd hang up immediately
Harden Kyrie and KD played like 10 games together total so not sure that's a fair judgement, OKC made the finals and decided to trade Harden over Ibaka, they would have for sure won a ring if they kept Harden. Cheap ownership was the reason they never won not cuz of how they played.
If you want to say they won't win if he goes to the clippers that I can agree with. Cuz harden is just not the same player he once was and neither is KD I'd say they are both about 75% of their prime players. It's still good but not good enough to win. Especially with the contracts. But it's not cus they didn't work out before.
That might actually work though. Harden can carry them through their injuries in the regular season, and they can carry him when he vanishes in the playoffs lol
Wow, just heard the Giannis news. Apparently, the Bucks told him they will trade him on their terms, and no matter what team trades for him he’s not signing the extension. He wants to be a free agent in 2027.
Not necessarily cheap, just gave the money to the wrong player, not that Ibaka was a scrub but you rather pay the guy that can facilitate. But now they are drafting exclusively playmakers......talking about making up.....
Except when Kawhi mysteriously has a lower leg injury in the first round, keeping him out. And KD twists an ankle in game #5.
We would have to send them at least one young player, and I'd rather it be Tari. This will free up minutes for Cam, who has a higher ceiling.
