I got a bad feeling stone is gonna use those picks in trades to get role players. The longer he waits the more pressure is on him to move them. The last thing we want to do is draft another young player.

If the suns don’t want to trade with us, we’ll have to search hard for a guy out there with untapped superstar potential(like the harden trade). I don’t trust stone with trades rn because he doesn’t have relationships with GMs like Morey does. He gained some friends in Brooklyn and with the Knicks tho.

KD has been carrying that team this year though, it just doesn't work w the amount of cap space he is taking up and the fact the rest of the roster has redundancies and is not built well at all. Nurk was a big reason they were losing a lot of games, they somewhat turned it around once they benched him. If you replaced Jimmy w KD on the Heat the past few years, I think he would have had a legitimate shot at winning it all at least one of those years, even if you did it this year they would have a shot.

There are a handful of teams where if you add KD and dont remove significant pieces, he could be the best player on a championship team. Fortunately for us, the Suns are not even close to being one of those teams. Booker is a very weak 2nd option, guy went 3-9 with no KD playing tonight.

Stone needs to move to plan B while continuing to negotiate with Suns. Trade for Cam johnson and Rob Williams. Sign Brogdon after his buyout.

I am really disappointed at this trade deadline. I hope I am wrong but Stone should have pulled the trigger on Fox or Ingram.

Eh, none of that puts you at the OKC level, and frankly, probably not at the level of the Lakers now with Mark Williams and Luka added

yeah, it’s highly unlikely, especially since he loves the city. I’d give up almost everything for an opportunity to build around him though.

If they were to move Fred id expect that theyd at the minimum being in a serviceable vet pg. I agree that Fred is important.

I don’t have faith in Stone’s trading prowess, but I don’t see how anyone can be upset we are holding back on this deadline. Fox is a Spur because Klutch Sports wanted him to be a spur. BI is a raptor because no one wants to trade a bunch of assets just to pay a guy who hasn’t played a full season since his rookie yr. We gonna be alright.

I would have been fine with Fox, but absolutely no on Ingram. The last thing we need is to tie ourself to an expensive player who is often injured.

How do y’all feel about Lamelo Ball? We could get him and still keep FVV. But Reed and them picks will be gone though.

Is he in the trade block? If so, then sure.

You’re not wrong….Spurs won by one last night and Fox had 24. Spurs are now better than our sitting and doing nothing arses as we fall down the standings and others will be rising. Rockets have a win in the future plan (3-5 years), so they are content doing nothing for now and we can celebrate in 2029 when our players like Jabrari mature.

The Spurs barely beat the decimated Hawks. They have ways to go to be as good as us.

Would love to have Lamelo but I don't think Charlotte is going to trade him. They just signed him to a 5 year extension.
