I'll still be surprised if we swing a trade for KD or Book, but I guess it did get a little bit more likely.
Everyone is saying that this helps us with PHX, but why? Just because there was some interest in the Suns adding Butler? I don’t know that it necessarily signals they’re going to blow it all up. Plus if they do, I’d rather have Book. But they’d probably rather hang onto him, and deal KD. They can also just run with this group, at least through the rest of the year, and then blow it up. But I’m too impatient - blow it up now, PHX!
I don't understand this. We didn't want harden who is a great playmaker and tank for the most part in durability bc of his age and longevity. Yet we now want an older snake who has more injury history. Like durant is good but we shouldn't b desperate

Definitely good for the Rockets that they missed out on Butler. Butler isn't that great anymore, but at least he's a lot healthier than Beal and isn't redundant with Booker. Even if they don't blow it up, this makes it more likely they don't make the playoffs and that pick being of a lot higher value.
