I could give up Jalen and Bari (I don’t think either player is essential to our future success), but adding #10 on top of that seems rich. But at this point, to end this freaking saga I might cave and include it. Maybe we can find a way to get Greyson Allen in the deal? He’s one of the best shooters in the NBA.
The draft is Wednesday. The closer we get to that day, the more pressure on The Suns to make the trade, thus the more leverage for potential buyers
I would do Brooks / Tari trade before a Green / Jabari. KD would replace Brooks and Cam could get all of Tari minutes off the bench. One of the few KD trades I’d be alright with if we can’t trade Fred
Yeah, but always remember for salary reasons one of Jalen or FVV will absolutely have to be part of any Durant trade
This is silly, the Suns put this deadline on themselves. If Rockets are going to acquire him using FVV then they have until June 29th (plus deadlines on Landale and Holiday as well). I don't think Minni can do a deal until after July 1st. Not sure what internal deadlines Spurs or Heat have if any.
I think u can just get there with Dillon, Bari, Landale, Holiday and #10. Bari $12.3 Dillon $22.1 Landale $8 Holiday $4.9 #10 $6
I'll do this trade as well. Tari could replace Dillon as our "villain" on our team regarding that dog-mentality on defense...
JG & #10 was already a ridiculous overpay, as KD isn't worth more than that #10. But now, add Jabari...who has more trade value than Jalen... C"mon.
taris contract is too valuable for success next year. his salary isnt enough. Brooks and Tari is only like 25 million dude. You have to have value contracts when you have a team of high salary players. With durant you cant lose tari. 5.6 mil for what he contributes is too valueable.
KD probably already told the Suns where he wants to go and they're just trying to drum up value. Team X probably knows they dont need to. Feel like either Vasell+Sochan+14 or Green+Brooks/Eason+10 gets it done. Don't see Miami offering anything of value even with Kelel Ware.
I think we have to remove our bias on the value of Jalen. If he was viewed as a positive asset, pretty sure the trade would already be done. At this point, he is a negative asset. Just have to face the truth on that part. We missed on him and that's ok. Just dont let that mistake compound on itself.
