I think I read news differently in general. The only person I consider might have a real source is Shams (previously Woj too). The rest I just consider to be rumors made up in studios or PR spread by teams and agents. Have always looked at it this way. The other people are never consistently right about trades so I've never understood why people give all of them credibility based on our internal biases. The logic for me personally is: we don't know who's involved from any reliable source and it's odd they haven't extended FVV yet despite Giannis being off the market. I also think that if we were offering Brooks, Green/Jabari and #10 the deal would have long been done and they wouldn't be holding out. The mindset of the rockets has been to be careful and cautious with trades. The idea that they're offering 2 starters and a good pick doesn't align with their typical behavior. We'll see how it goes I guess.

suns gave up way too much and completely changed their team. Acquiring Beal ruined the rest of it. The Nets arent durants fault. The nets sabotaged their franchise by how they handled Kyrie stupidly and caused harden to leave. Durant had no choice but to request out. The way I see this news is: Shams is right maybe half the time and everyone else is right 1-5% of the time. So I really only take shams/Woj seriously and then I enjoy personally speculating on their reports. What's bugging you about this? You want me to take the other reports seriously?

Nothing's bugging me at all, I just found it a little odd I guess, seeing you discussing everything like FVV was even in the equation when he isn't. There's so many narratives on here right now that seem entirely grounded in that individual's conspiracy theories rather than any real evidence or anything that's reported. Like the Ime being on the hot seat or us looking to move on from FVV, everything suggests the complete opposite. By all accounts we can't find a buyer for Jalen anywhere and the Suns want a youngster of value if we want KD. Any wild assumptions you guys make have less than 100th of the credibility of the people you're questioning the credibility of, if even that.
I hope he goes to Miami if we don't get him for pennies. We need more stars go to the East for parity in the West. In fact, I hope Jalen Green gets re-routed to an Eastern team if this trade goes through. One thing that seems inevitable about this whole thing is FVV is gonna get his 30M/year extension no matter what. If Stone is willing to give Green 33M/year then he'll easily give FVV that nightmare contract..
I just think some of us have healthy skepticism of sports journalists and really all journalists. It may all be true, it may be part true, or it could be completely false. None of us know. I think we re-sign FVV. I think it is a mistake and I will hope that they come to their senses, but in the meantime I will continue to play GM and put together my fantasy trades. Well we see the news differently then. I work in the media so I'm pretty comfortable analyzing it. I'm just going to continue to have fun speculating on my personal message board account where I'm not pretending I'm an insider if that's ok. You're having a bad day or something dude. I don't think you really have a problem with me speculating basketball trades based on an overly cautious approach to sports news sources. Conspiracy theories are started by the naive who believe anything, not by those who choose sources cautiously and share their personal analysis. You're unintentionally just policing my thoughts here.
