What part of Devin Booker, their franchise player is going back to the 2 is hard to understand? That’s been the plan since their season ended. Why would you trade your best available asset for a position that you already have a top 3-4 SG at? Maybe they think Jalen sucks, who knows but logic tells me you don’t trade for a 2 guard when you need a big and point.

We could send that all to PHX, or a third team could help out here - BKN is the obvious one, but WAS is also an option as they have several TPEs to take on salary. Something like: HOU gets KD PHX gets Jabari, Brooks, Williams, #10 WAS gets Landale, Holiday, Whitmore We get our guy, PHX saves a bunch of money and gets two young assets, WAS takes a flier on Whitmore for taking on dead-weight salary. Can also play around with keeping Whitmore and giving WAS draft capital and/or routing Richaun Holmes to PHX (if they prefer a starting C over cap savings)
If the reported Wolves and Raptors deals are real, really not sure what Phoenix is waiting for unless Minny and Toronto have those offers with the contingency KD signs an extension.
I think Minny must be waiting to see if they get a handshake from KD. AntMan allegedly said he’s not calling KD to recruit him.

That's not really making it better....they are still saying that a late first/early second or whatever is more valuable to them than Jalen Green as a player, even off the bench. Also, the modern NBA is more positionless than you are trying to make it seem. If Jalen Green was a good player, he could easily fit next to Devin Booker who is pretty much a combo guard at this point and the Jalen fans think that's what he is too despite the evidence to the contrary.
