I didn't think I would have to explain that the playing for free thing was obvious hyperbole given that he literally can't play for free even if he wanted to, but apparently I do.

If we offered him a deal, any deal, taking it would have been his best career move for his long term earning potential.

Let's see what DM will do now. Graham would have been a good alternative, but DM didn't pursue him, like he did with Taylor. Now, both of them, aren't available. They were both SG's though. We need someone else apart from Ennis. Our Rockets need a true swingman.

If one isn't available, just go for the BPA with part of the MLE. Hopefully, CC will re-sign with the Rockets too. Even though, I'm not keen on Melo at all, I'm half OK with him signing for the vet min, of part of the MLE. If DM can get a good backup PF, to help PJ with part of the MLE, I'm all for it.

Also, don't waste time with Markel and RJ with two way contracts. I don't mean to harp on it, but Deng and Duval should take their places as soon as possible. Otherwise, someone else may reap the benefits of signing them in the long run.

Graham is too young for this team IMO but I do think he will turn into a good player for BKN.

I think the Rockets are done with Wings, Green/Ennis/MCW. Yes I’m calling MCW a wing, I think the Rockets will reduce his role to just play defense and hustle and shoot corner 3s

We’ll see when the season starts. MCW can lock down IMO.

He can guard 1-3, 6’7. He can handle and pass, but can’t shoot. A poormans Roberson.

The Madrid women alone....... and awesome chocolate and coffee. Houston fat women, selfish strippers, and Galveston.

His passing isn't very good. At times, he will even have decent minutes, and have a few assists. He can handle, he looks to get to the rim and rarely he can make a 3 pointer, but his defense is negated to some extent, because he will behave like a black hole. This behavior will simply not be tolerated on the Rockets. DM is making a mistake here, imo. I'm ok with asking him to come to training camp. His contract is not guaranteed, if I'm not mistaken. Let him prove himself first.

I'm not sure how legit Encestando.es is, but the story is written as if its fact and not just a rumor.

Here is the translation of the first paragraph:

Recently, the Houston Rockets made an offer to Jeffery Taylor to return to the NBA, as reported by OK Diario, but the small forward has decided to reject the offer. He has a contract with Real Madrid and feels pleased (with his current team), so he has decided to remain with the Euroleague champion.

I'm wondering, if Melo takes vet min, does Morey reach out to Nunnally and Taylor with the MLE in his pocket to increase offers, or is Morey not willing to raise offer per "Players who can Overperform Contract" reasons, thus, not willing to pay more for them whether he has another exception to use or not.

fwiw: he doesn't have to give full T-MLE to either, but could do $2m to one of them....and use rest of MLE for other things.
