Stone did not say what the OP claims and therefore it is a lie and this thread needs to be shut down. Although, it is enjoyable having a discussion anout Nurse being our next coach.
The people that are complaining about Imes transgressions aren’t aware of our own people at the top with children out of wedlock etc.. Players don’t give a shtt about that and neither should we tbh.
If you were not ok with Danuel House jeopardizing a critical playoff game as a bench player, it's absurd you're ok with a coach who jeopardized a championship run. This is not even mentioning he's 1 season removed from being a rookie HC and choked hard in the Finals. He exhibits all the behaviors of an insecure person who isn't focused on his job when the cameras are off. Whether Mazzula gets the to the ECF or Finals, he will have easily accomplished practically everything Udoka accomplished without embarrassing the organization and putting undue media pressure on the team. Brad Stevens took a much younger Tatum and Brown to the ECF. Udoka went one series further and choked in that extra series. It has nothing to do with Udoka. It's Tatum, Brown, Smart, Horford, etc. That's the magic formula. He's not championship material, and if he's not that he's certainly not a character or development guy. He's not a good role model obviously, people who suck at long term personal relationships ALWAYS suck at long term work relationships - ask a psychologist you trust. He has never exhibited any potential to develop young players, which is critical for us. Someone will overpay for him, I really hope it's not us. Especially now that you're going to get an insecure immature guy who feels like he needs to prove himself, what a mess it would be. We'd be babysitting the coach lol when we need a babysitter for the roster. It's his first season as HC and during a championship run he's banging a team rep or an owner's wife. Why are you risking everything your team worked for? You can so easily be fired and disrupt the whole season. Udoka is the KPJ of coaches. All the talent in the world but no street smarts, no leadership qualities. Get me a coach who looks at the Larry O'Brien trophy like Udoka looks at a 5.

for the exact reason this is basically same team year-to-year. every winning coach knows you have to shake **** up every once in a while to keep players on their toes
He pouted like a child when he got busted, acted as though someone had done something unfair to him. That's classic KPJ. In all seriousness though, it's far less stupid for a 22 year old to have a fight with Christian Wood or give up on a play than the HC of a team risk a whole title season on this. Coaches that made the Finals once are not rare and that's the only thing he has done well. Nick Nurse has a title. Atkinson has a title as lead assistant. Hell even Scott Brooks has made an NBA Finals. There's no selling point for Udoka.
I like Terry Stotts TBH Decent coach, and has the looks of a guy who’s never had sex, so we’re safe in that regard…
