Much to do aboun nothing, as usual. T-Mac ain't going nowhere unless somebody gives us something clearly superior over the long term. (Wade/Lebron/etc)
This is the time to trade TMAC, the league knows we are going to give the Yao/TMAC only one more year to work. Tmac's value is not very high however is you can get a healther & younger All star in exchange - JUST DO IT! Prince > TMAC
WOOO.......take it easy there kimo-saby............. This is definately great news...........but come on now........we arent even close to a Championship yet big dog...... Hell we might not get out of the west........if we dont make another move.......and thats real talk....no homerness.......if thats a word...................
The Rockets and Morey have always said the plan was to build around Tracy and Yao. They got 2 more years. If they win or go to the finals, McGrady will be resigned if not "Bye-Bye T-Mac" There set to be players in 2010 with McGradys contract coming of the books.
Come on T-mac why why why do you make it so hard to root for you and back you up. You're on your own this time. Seriously T-mac do you even have an agent? Its not gonna matter if you get in the eastern conference, you've been there for years and you still couldn't get out of the first round. Also you're going to miss so many games the pistons would have to play lebron james in the first round. So if you want to ride on somebody else's back to the 2nd round why dont you settle for less money first. Until then ITS YOUR FAULT. Last year was different i'll give you that.
I dont know about this.........something just doesnt sound right........ Tracy said something..........thats for sure.....I am just not sure what it was...... He is just playing it down cuz it got out.......we will see but the first round exit pressure is sure gettin to him thats for sure..... I pray we do something this off season to change that....because it sounds like our other superstar cant take another first round exit and all that blame on his shoulders again.............all that TMAC NEVER GOT OUT OF THE FIRST ROUND JAZZ.......... This will be interesting how this will turn out in the next year or so....
so you're STILL speculating? tracy did admit he did say nice things about detroit and dumars (who wouldn't like feign said). but tracy did end by saying he's very happy in houston and just wants to win. if you read the feign article, les invited tracy into the draft bonanza and i'm sure if there were any trade tmac rumors, he would have heard them all. if les isn't committed to tracy, none of that would happen. tracy is here to stay, for the next 2 years at least. he's not gonna be traded. he knows it and everyone in the organization knows it.
I agree.........i am not saying hes gonna be traded just that he wants out of mediocrity........... I dont think he is likin losing in the first round stuff.......and he is getting most of the blame I dont want to trade nor do I think he will
Oh, yeah. It's always the other side that made the offer. It's never the exec who looked you in the eye this morning and gave you a big smile and a pat on the back like you're part of the family.
He was talking to freaking Stephen A Smith, of course whatever he said was going to be taken out of context if it wasn't recorded. The next time Stephen A won't get him to say jack.
I love how fans still get riled up over comments T-Mac makes. He's a nice guy, but he's a total blank slate. You have to judge T-Mac by his actions, not his words.
um nobody likes losing and nobody likes mediocrity. everyone in this organization, not just tracy, is hating the results that we are having. but after game 6 last yr, you saw the optimism he has for the team. i'm sure he knows health is the primary obstacle for this team, not the lack of talent or skill (although 3rd scorer is needed)
while I agree with your assertion that the deals (trades) that do get done are rarely reported prior to them being completed, I have to disagree with your example. Maggette and Brand were both unrestricted free agents, and they were likely priority 1 and 1a for every team in the league to speak to. There was no doubt that Maggette was leaving, and a couple of NBA analysts speculated that Brand would be likely to leave as well. Their situation was quite different than trade speculations, as neither had a team that controlled their destination, pay, or terms (deal length).... the latter two usually being trade deal-breakers .
