That was regular season. Jones didn't play those games, Howard only played two, no prigioni, and josh was with the team for only two games where he was not even with the team for a month and no time to practice because of the brutal January schedule. The Rockets are a totally different team that will shock the world.
What's even more amazing is that we are doing this without Dmo and Beverly. Like...we can be better on paper even next year. Which is good news should we not win the championship and even better news if we do.
Chris Bosh spurning the Rockets turned out to be a gift. Can y'all imagine where this team would be right now had the Bosh and Parson plan suceeded. probably watching from their living rooms. Especially wuth the unfortunate injury of Bosh. With a healthy Bosh, team would be good. But Parson at best was a fourth star. And Parson could not push the Rockets to where they are now. plus there would be no financing for a bench. One thing about Morey is he is resiliant. if one plan doest work, he goes to plan B, C, D, etc...... Probably why I enjoyed seeing Washington play. At one point last year, it was full of guys Morey targeted Gortat, Nene, Ariza. Plus Pau Gasol with the Bulls was a legit allstar. And going after Marc Gasol, another allstar... Morey is relentless. it seems he doest dwell on the one that got away.
I think it's time people like cheke64, thefreak, and hakeemthagreat eat their crow and admit they have been flat out WRONG about Morey. Also, hotballa is proven to be a moron yet again.
