    I was following you until your 2nd sentence. How is Dallas "still" the team to beat. Did you check the playoff standings last season.

    Team #1: won
    Team #2: exited in the 1st round and stood pat this offseason.
    Team #3: exited in the 1st round and drastically improved.

    hmmm. Can you fill in the blanks?

    again, all this talk is making me antsy. can we just start the REAL games please?

    i can't wait for tmac to brutalize kobe when 10/30 rolls around to the tune of 30 pts and 8 dimes.

    i was confused at first. I thought it was Donny Nelson. When did people start calling him just Don. I thought the article was 3 years old at first

    What I meant was they are still by the far the strongest in the conference. I know they got knocked out in the first round by GS, but I think that was a fluke. Of all the teams in the NBA, Dallas has the most trouble withe GS's lineup, not to mention Nellie still has a few tricks up his sleeves.

    If they had won that series, I'm sure they would've gone far, perhaps even taking out SA. Who knows, coming into this season, I still see them as being the best team (overall) in our conference. And if you check the preseason rankings, the "experts" think so as well.
