4chuckie, Not a very thought of response my son, Hakeem holds the nba record for most field goals made 24-40 with no foul shots. He was getting killed in that game but the refs turned the other cheek. That is just 1 example out of hundreds should I keep going no I dont have time. What the heck kind of facts you want I have seen every Rockets game from 90 to now I have watched Hakeem and I have seen the lack of calls over the years. I dont have time to explain this to a once and a while watcher of games like yourself. ------------------
Mantronix, We lost the game because of a great play by a great player. Bottom line. Mobley may have been fouled, but referees do not like to call a foul in that situation, especially since the ball went in. Let the players decide, not the refs. As for whether I know the game, you are welcome to come down for some noon time basketball at the YMCA here in Austin. I will be happy to rain on your parade. I've seen Hakeem get called for the foul and EJECTED after that (ugly hate-filled guy on Toronto that used to be on New York) Fouled him, I've seen Dream get called for the foul after Shaq pushed him to the floor, seen him get fouled for hitting Karl Malones elbow with his side, among many others. The only consistent thing Dream ever has gotten away with is double-dribbling on the dreamshake, and that was usually because he was so quick that the refs didn't catch it. I agree with Doc Rivers, that the refs don't have the balls to call fouls on certain people, and I think that it goes all the way up to David Stern being a corrupt, swindling , cheating, butt-lickin sorry sombitch. And that's how I feel about it, but I'm not gonna call any of you guys names. ------------------
