In MY book this says that the clowns running your organization do not have a damn clue about how to evaluate and aquire talent.
It's only a wash if you think that the $5m that Amaechi takes out of the teams cap space is equal to $1-2m that a rookie would take. It's only a wash if you think that having a fat "vet" in practice is the same as having a hungry rookie in practice. It's only a wash if you think that having a lazy, fat "vet" as a team player is the same as having a rookie as a team player. I think not.
Not true. If you have the 28th pick in the 1st round, it's a guaranteed contract. If you have the 1st pick in the 2nd round, it's not. Which pick would you rather have?
1. We're not even close to having the 28th pick 2. It's only a guaranteed contract once you sign the player. You can easily take a chance on a Euro player and wait to see how he develops before signing them.
So if we didn't trade Glen Rice, there was an NBA rule that prohibited us from signing Jim Jackson? For example, We could have signed Jim Jackson in lieu of Eric Piatkowski.
i dont really like CD, and him giving up first rounders but think about it. If we didnt trade glen to utah he would still be on this team, and he probably would just be sitting on the bench cause he is just to old (and the proff that he is done for is shown by the clippers waiving him). We got JJ and pike in return. JJ was an excellent move, but pike dont know what happend to him.
