Yahoo! Sports. Link HOUSTON ROCKETS What they gave up: Bonzi Wells, Mike James, Kirk Snyder, 2010 second-round pick, cash. What they got: Bobby Jackson, Adam Haluska, Gerald Green, draft rights to Sergei Lishouk, Hornets’ 2008 second-round pick. Analysis: The Rockets corrected a mistake by unloading James, a savings of about $6 million from the commitment they inherit with Jackson. Jackson’s production obviously has declined, but he has plenty of playoff experience from his days with the Kings. At his best, Wells was a Spurs’ killer, something that could have come in handy should the teams meet in the playoffs. But rookie Carl Landry, a heady draft pick by Houston, has already developed enough to make Wells expendable. The Rockets also swapped Snyder for Green. Should they need someone to blow out a candle in a cupcake while dunking during the playoffs, they’re set. Grade: B.
Gerald Green may be on to something that would help the Suns tremendously. If D Antoni and Nash begin putting cup cakes on the rim I think Shaq would become a dunking machine again.
Pretty fair grade imo Tho I'd give the trades a B- The trades weren't great, but they weren't bad enough for a C
that B grade absolutely reinforces my yahoo disdain. we get weaker and make our division/conference rival stronger. that could only get a passing grade in Bizarro world. solid F.
