i remember his very first Rockets game, and i think his very first game ever, actually, back in 1994. i remember the game specifically because of the way it ended and how this new ref Tim Donaghy played a HUGE role.

it was the beginning of the 1994-95 season, and his whistle was going off like crazy.

we were playing At Indiana, and the game went on forever because there were so many fouls called. anyway, it was really, really close in the end, and it was going back and forth.

finally, reggie miller got free for a shot and hakeem came over to block it, but reggie pump-faked, and got hakeem up in the air. hakeem came down and reggie leaned in for the contact, and all the rockets fans watching on Paramount 20 were SURE that reggie was gonna get the call.

and he almost did, if it wasn't for one man - Tim Donaghy. he called the foul on REGGIE MILLER because as Hakeem was coming down, Reggie kinda stuck his elbow out towards Dream. i hadn't seen it when the play actually transpired, but replays definitely vindicated the call.

the call was very badly received by Reggie, the Pacers, and the rest of Market Square Arena, and it was the very reason the game turned in our favor.
