Rockets Game Winning Buzzer-Beaters

Vernon Maxwell vs I think golden state. This was in 95 before the trade for Drexler.

Otis throws it off the backboard, and Vernon chases after it, and does a crazy turn around.

Robert Horry had one his rookie year from deep 3. Rattled in for the win. Cant remember who they were playing. I wanna say orlando but prolly wrong. Did happen though.

 

Olajuwon’s winning tip in game 1 of the 95 Finals was basically a buzzer beater, even though there were technically 0.3 seconds left.

 

I was luck enough to be at that game. I remember even when we were outside The Summit, the crowd was still chanting "Eddie...Johnson" and "Houston...Rockets." Pretty cool experience.

 

I was at a game in 93-94 against the Heat. Seemed like one of those games where we were down the whole time, until Max hit a buzzer beater turn around 3 to send it into OT. That is the best shot I’ve seen in person. We ended up taking over in OT.

 

Nice game winners mentioned, but I was wondering about true buzzer beaters, not just game winning shots... Can't remember the last one we had before last night.

I could have sworn AB had one for us in during his stints, but all I could find was this...

I remember he had a game where he went 0 for the game, and went on to hit the game winner. Don’t recall if it was a buzzer beater or not.

 

I believe that was game 1 of the 95 Conference Finals against the Spurs:

Everything in the OP is a buzzer-beater, hence the title of the thread ...not just a game winner.

The last one before last night was Gordon's vs Philly this year.
