My family has been season ticket holders for the Blazers for over 20 years, so I got to see Batum play often, in person. Is his abysmal play in Charlotte attributed to his past injuries or something else as well? With is intangibles, he would be a good get for a minimum contract to come off the bench for Houston.

Besides the questionable fit and playing time in BKN, it makes sense. BKN are legit championship contenders, there is no uncertainty or dysfunction (as of yet), and Brooklyn is a better city to live in. I don't blame him one bit.

I understand where you are coming from but I am willing to be patient to see what Stone's follow up after acquiring Christian Wood. Rockets definitely should not over react and make crazy moves like Detroit or the Hornets. Keep in mind, it hasn't even been 24 hours since free agency started, I still believe the Rockets have something cooking up. Of course I maybe wrong as well. LOL

He was injured last season. The previous season he averaged 9pts 5rpg 3apg on 45 percent shooting and 39 percent from three. still only 31

This shows how unhappy he was with TF and the daily announcements in Houston.

And MDA was the coach that unlocked Jeff as well.

    Westbrook/
    Harden/Gordon/McLemore
    House/Nwaba
    PJ/Tate/Martin
    Wood/

Still need a backup PG and a backup Center. Who’s still left for a minimum or mle? Is Sergio healthy? :D

I do not trust House as a starter anymore. Need another starter, or 2.

PJ and House off the bench is better for the team.

Is it fair to judge him based on being unable to move difficult contracts? The only two contracts that would be easily movable are the PJ Tucker and Daniel House contracts. Maybe the Rockets intend to keep them since they may not sign someone as good. Moving that EG contract is not easy.

Being a NBA GM is not supposed to be easy.

And it was Stone that bragged that only Morey's personality will be missed and team will still be innovative and most active team in NBA.

I will hold him to that boast.

We need a starting three guy. Tucker is better suited to the 4 spot. I’m not sure House is the answer and Eric is more of a 2. I would look to see if a package of Gordon can get us a starting three and use the MLE on Baynes as a bruiser to backup Woods

    Yea.

The Kings were more than willing to send Bogdan to Milwaukee in a SNT that got nixed. I imagine McNair and Stone (two long time friends) could find a way to make this work.

This has to be the biggest driving factor for Jeff Green leaving. He's looked like total ass every other stop he's had, but MDA got something out of him nobody else could. Mofos on here are so ****ing ready to be negative about every little damn thing, they forget that these players forge very real relationships with their coaches.

Would be cool if we could sell the Kings on them needing veteran leadership in that group and that Gordon provides it. Good thoughts @treyk3 . Would love it if you could speak it into existence. Love the enthusiasm bro.

If we get Brog we are easily the second best team in the west on paper and that will convince both the Brodie bros to give this a chance
