Naw it's not Sura's fault. Tim was passed to Yao (but not by Sura) who has stone hands and a Hornets guard knocked Tim out of Yao's hands and stole him. Either that or Tim misses Boki and is going to be his Colin Pine - translating Cajun to Slovenian or whatever Boki speaks.... Boki: Tim, is food supposed to burn your lips and tongue? Tim: Just wait, Boki, in a couple of hours. It gets even better.
Best wishes Tim, still love to catch up when i visit the US next time btw what's up with us a New Orleans, please tell me the bbs is heading that way
He's still here for another week. I'll just say I don't work in marketing. But the promotions are important to my part of the job too - so I try to get more people there.
Tim will be missed. I havent seen him around in a while, maybe he's been browsing monster.com instead. Good luck in Kansas City...ummm...err.... New Orleans, it's going to be a tough ride for the next few years to market a losing franchise, I heard they are thinking of moving Baron Davis and start rebuilding. I think it would be hard to market that product. Hopefully the Rockets will get someone hip, and in tune with todays game, fashions and trends. Hopefully they will also be a Clutchfans member.
Bad move Tim. I don't know why anyone would want to work for Shinn. Knowing Shinn, Tim probably got the fancy title but had to take a pay-cut. So good luck; you'll be needing it. Is there a Hornets BBS out there for Tim to post on?
This thread should be a sticky, and should be renamed to "The Tim McGDougall appreciation thread" I am going to e-mail Tim and let him know that this thread exists. Maybe he can check it out when he gets home. We should also try to e-mail his new boss in New Orleans to let him know what a great addition Tim will be. I am very shocked! I've really enjoyed all of his participation in the bbs. I thought it was extremely cool that the Rockets VP of marketing was so communicative with this fan site. I can only hope that his successor will be just as outgoing and friendly. I enjoyed meeting Tim at the Rockets Christmas party, and am saddened to hear of his departure. Keep in touch, Tim! -- droxford
Good luck Tim - I really appreciate your help a while back when I ran into some ticketing issues. Eat a few more Cafe Du Monde beignets for me!
