Nah, the clip was the 95-96 season. Email Davis didn't sign until 96-97.

Bill Worrell "He does it over and over and over again!"

Bill Worrell "Vernon Maxwell is the absolutely the most cold blooded player I've ever seen"

I can't wait for the next Vernon highlight you put out there! Best thing anyone has done this off season!

Nice video and all, but this probably belongs in a different place....this is a thread about a different era that most "fans" know nothing about.

Believe it or not, there were Rockets teams that existed before Yao, McGrady, and even Francis.

What's funny is he said it "brings back good memories." Everything in that video was from this season.

    Please.

Why isn't Sam Cassell a Rocket now? I know at his age he will not bring much to the table on the floor. But his experience speaks for itself and he will ALWAYS be a Rocket.....a ring in year one and two baby!!!!!!!!!!

Man I love seeing the Spurs lose!
also note how when Maxwell let it go, you know it was going in swish no matter how far away he was.

Also I love the Maxwell leap at the end, kinda like the one he did against the Knicks in game 7.

    JBII,
if we get some people, you want to part of Maxwell jail break, we need some copters and some A-Team dudes, we can do it!

I thought we had him the next year. I only remember killing boys in Live 98' with E-mail.

He tore his ACL against the Lakers early in 96-97 and missed the rest of the year. he was really coming into his own I believed. We could have used him against the Jazz in the West finals. We had to settle for a retread in Sedale Threatt.

I hate Threatt, he was in tehre at the end of the game in Game 6 vs UTA and had a couple of misses from the perimeter when we needed em ... I can't believe elie or EJ weren't taking them

But notice the great passing abilities of an Otis Thorpe.
One of the greatest outlet passers in NBA history.
