Being GSW assistant coach is not any Indication someone can coach...I can coach the GSW... I'll take Ime Udoka

I put it in the rockets watch chat that the Tillman I used to know would do it on Sunday. Bout time his ass made an appearance back in the day but I know someone really close to him still - stone don’t have a long leash if he fks up this off-season
Mike Brown sure did grow a lot being a GSW assistant. I remember that prior to him being assistant there, it seems like his head coaching career would be coming to an end.
Brian Jabba-the-Hut Windhorst: "It is awful what Stephen Silas had to go through there in Houst--is that pepperoni? Hand me the box, will you?"
FWIW (which probably isn't much), I think Silas is a genuinely good human being, and I wish him well.
I've always wanted to see the conventional wisdom of "nice guy finishes last" to be wrong for once. Too bad I'm disappointed again.
Just curious. If a free agent wasn't offered an extension or new contract would you create a thread entitled "Rockets cut player X"?
This is really weird but this dude (sorry, don't know who it is) looks a bit like a buffed up Nowitzki.
I get the feeling hiring Udoka would be a play for Brown. If they got #2 and ran with a (Udoka) Henderson, Green, Brown, Smith, Sengun lineup does that work? Henderson, Green, Brown, Smith, Sengun Christopher, Washington, Porter, Martin, Tate, Eason, Garuba, Clippers pick off the bench... 3 old hats? Idk man. They've got to consolidate some. We've all got favorites but you can't have a 12 man rotation every night if you want to win.
Not the same. A player's contract has a lot more considerations. Not extending a player does not necessarily mean that the team doesn't want him. It could be because they don't want to pay him that much, or they need the capspace, etc. Not extending a coach's contract is pretty clear why.
