and to think we could’ve had this breh on our team! management really dropped the ball here. what could have been….
Just catching up with some DVR recordings, and I had to laugh at this moment from the Pistons summer league game. Silas in the background as Jabari, after the win, is literally saying, "Last year ... we didn't have an identity."
Silas is on the DET bench now. A team very similar to the Rockets. An easy barometer is by end of next year, which team has the better record.
Minus Fred Van Vleet and the Defense of Ime Udoka. All depends on Cade. Ivey, Duren, Wiseman are raw. Ausar will be alright in his 1st year. 13-4-4 is probably a Thompson Twin stat.
I doubt it, he is just a puppet, a lead assistant in name. They had Jarrett Jack coach most of Summer League if I remember it correctly. Ex NBA role players make good assistants.
Doubtful if Rockets can make the play in. But being better than Detroit is a realistic goal. Their spacing is bad like the Rockets, but on paper we may have an edge on defensive improvement. As far as Silas' actual influence... It's Monty's show. The Silas take is a fun little side wager.
They shut down Bogdanovic, but overall they were worse last year. Yeah, actually I was one of the people who was not that high on SIlas even after MDA exit. You go back in CF history and you would find the same people all over Silas body as they were on Udoka back then.
I should put a winky face on my comments that isn't meant to be taken entirely literally. Daywalker and I flushed out the convo in later exchanges.
it hurts me so much seeing silas with the bad guys. we could've had this prodigy here leading a real team this year. what he could do with amen and whitemore is limitless
