I really don't get the so-called Texas rivalry. Who cares which state a team is located in? We have not played the Spurs in the playoffs in eons. I am sure the Rockets have been just an afterthought to the Spurs organization in the past decade or so. The rivalry is only in the minds of some insecure Rockets fans. Apart from the Rockets, I root for teams that have likable players, or root against teams that have unlikable players. Location is the last thing I consider.
Division Rivals....? Also I get the whole Texas Brotherhood thing, but honestly, I hate the Mavs..... Spurs are okay, but still never like them. I like LeBron way more than Duncan, Parker, or Ginobli. I always wanted MJ to succeed, and I feel the same way about LeBron (except when he plays Houston). This is just my 2 cents.
