I doubt the composition of this core group can contend. Even if everybody is healthy come playoff, and that's a big if, I feel we don't have enough to edge out in the West.

The biggest weakness is health and lack of atheleticism and comptent offensive weapons. Health we all know. Offensively, look at the Lakers, the Spurs model these days just dont work that well.

Adding a major piece like Mike Miller would help us greatly.

I wont trade Tmac until his contract is expiring.

I would entain trading Yao if the offer is right, like Dirk+young legs for Yao. I am not giving up on Yao, but these days I just think his health and lack of mobility wont put us there in June.

Everybody is tradable if the price is right. However, I wouldnt trade away any piece our core this coming year, with exception of Battier.

If we add a guy like Mike Miller, I expect us to fight hard in the playoff next year, and pull out in the West.

The spurs would never make that trade. The heat...who know what they would do they are so out of whack right now it could help them to have a player like Battier.

Q1, yes, with yao, we r playing against celtics now...
    Q2, health
Q3, obviously, this has nothing to do with the biggest weakness--health. but this team can improve next season thru trade. esp we have so much assets right now
    Q4,no
Q4.1, trades involves TMAC bores me, hes not going anywhere
    Q5&5.1, yao is untouchable
    Q6, bobby jackson???
    ......................................................................................kidding
Q7, if everyone stays healthy, we can contend
