Exactly. We all know he's a good player but he's 36-years-old! I thought that was a typo when I first read it.

    Talk about knee jerk extension.

So that means they'll have Pryzbila, Oden, and Camby at center?

I know Deke played till he was 80 but he played spot bench minutes to spell Yao some, not a starter's role. Good luck with that one Portland.

The Knicks have already reported that they will pursue him heavily as well as Chicago stating that they will try to sign him in the offseason if possible. The Knicks will have money to burn but we still probably have a chance if Chicago is able to land a few other top free agents.

If Portland succeed in the Playoffs...i am sure the chance of signing Camby is slim. But if they failed...then the chance of signing him is greater. So it all depends on how the Blazers did in the Playoffs. So far...not a good sign.

Just imagine what Yao will demand if Camby DOES get that contract. Camby is just as injury prone as Yao and 6 years older and 6'' shorter and with 1/6 of Yao's skills.

    Camby to Portland?

If that deal goes down, they must not have a lot of faith in Oden over there to ever be 100% healthy for a full season, unless they let go of Pryzbilla.
