I snagged them from Ebay and they weren't cheap. LA has its stereotypes (thanks to Hollywood) but I've yet to run into unfriendly people or had any terrible experiences.
yeah if you go let us know ahead of time.. i think there is a very remote chance i will have a chance to go also.. but i'll be cheering the ROckets on from home..
actually for the most part my experience at Staples Center has been pleasant. most fans are okay .. you get the occasional homer jackass but for the most part it has been alright.. never felt like i was in danger or anything
Sorry, someone else snatched up the ticket. So seems like there are just going to be a handful of us at the game tomorrow?
What an experience... arrived at 5 and found a nice bar called Rock'N Fish (across from ESPN Zone). Not too crowded, good food, and met several friendly Lakers fan. Of course, none of them gave us a chance and only talked about the potential Kobe/Lebron showdown. Had a great view from out seats. The arena gets very loud, I wish Houston would do the same. Cheered as much as I could and did not let the whinny Lakers fans get to me. There was one other guy cheering and standing for the Rockets, otherwise it was all LA. A couple guys behind us didn't appreciate me taunting on their freethrows or standing after a couple of our dunks, but they were harmless. Very pleased to see all the LA fans leave early. We stayed for about 10 minutes before we were kicked out, managed to high 5 Jack and a couple of the Lakers dancers. Great fun, debating going to Game 2.
