Oh, please. All you guys should be honest. I'm still watching, but it frustrates the **** out of me. There's so much talent on the floor, but no effort. I prefer the Stevie Franchise days to this ****. At least those guys left it all on the floor every night. T-Mac makes me want to vomit. Today, I turned the game off a couple minutes before it was over. I never do that. I just couldn't watch anymore. 2 field goals in the third? Really? Me and 4 high school ballers could probably do that. It's just pathetic.

    Edit:

To you guys playing the loyalty card-

It's a 2 way street. If these players were loyal to me as a fan, they would play hard.

okay, so obviously the title is an epic fail, to to much regard, many of you may think this thread is a fail...

I should have known that die-hard rocket fans wouldn't take it lightly...

    and for this I apologize...

and downplaying my loyalty and saying you hate fans like me, I really appreciate that guys

I can't wait to be among fans like you when I'm watching Rockets play the Jazz the day before my birthday

did you not read what I wrote...? It's all there, black and white, clear as crystal

Meaning, if Rockets were to face Blazers in any game or playoff series, I'd obviously want the Rockets to win.

I just meant that in the event Rockets get kicked out of the playoffs or have injuries again, I'll have an alternative team to root for rather than kick myself and be miserable.

    Good Day Sir!

i am a rocket fan first but i also see others teams, such as the warriors, lakers and blazers. of the three, warriors are my favorite to watch because their offense is just plain running and hustling and beautiful to watch. i thought they would take a step back without baron davis but they are still running and gunning, that how offense should be played. we are one the slowest team not because of yao but because of mcgrady, after a rebound, he always walks the ball up the court and initiates the offense. I don't care how good a player you are if you play in the halfcourt all the time you are bound to have bad shooting percentages.

I completely understand what he is saying. I'll stick watch every minute possible of Rockets games I can, but you gotta admit that until our shots start going down and we get healthy, we are B-O-R-I-N-G. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with watching and/or rooting for other teams (go hometown Blazers!). But yeah, this thread doesn't belong here.

i don't know about you, whenever i watch the rockets i don't feel bored even with the "boring" offence. I generally get excited when my favourite sports team play.

If you call yourself a "fan" get behind the team whether they putting up 70pts or 120pts, winning or losing. If every rockets fan thought like you "Oh boring offence lets just might as well switch over to the knicks game then."

Sure we play not play the 06/07 suns type of basketball or have a espn top 10 highlight player but just watching your team play is good entertainment.

A Rox fan should be a fan with 100% commitment, no reservation and no second guess.

You support the team and enjoy the fun when Rox is winning.

You support it more when it is in distress. You don't quit and consider watching other teams whilst claiming you are still a Rox fan. Once you have that thought, I doubt your integrity as a true Rox fan.

You may as well ask for our opinion for watching other teams like Lakers, Celtics, Honets etc because once the Blaziers start losing, you may quit and consider other alternatives and ask us the same question again.

i was goin to tease the guy went for Blazers, thought he could do better than that. But I change my mind. It's one thing to lose a game, it's quite another to lose your spirit on the court. They fought, but did they really fought like a soldier from the beginning to the end? Hell, no. That disgusts me.

Just stay off the bandwagon when the Rockets win it all.

If someone is a fan of the rockets, this is the place to be. If some poor soul can't stand being a fan of the Rockets, they can either split for greener pastures or wallow in NBA Dish. This is about as nice a reply as you should expect and better than you deserve. Fair weather fans suck, as far as I'm concerned. Spin it how you like, but that's what you are, in my opinion.

    Peace out man!

Our bandwagon was getting to packed w/ fair-weather fans anyways. We better not see you around here come May when we are getting ready to face the Lakers in the West finals after spanking the Hornets in the West semi-finals! :D

The only teams I've seen this year that play like a team are the Celtics, the Lakers, and the Jazz. I'm not about to root for any of them, but they are the only teams that I would watch on National TV just because they are on. The rest of the league is pretty much boring these days, unfortunately including the Rockets, at least until they get into some sort of sync.
