Nah this was good for us. I know harden gets a big head fast and think we honestly need to get embarrassed a couple be games to hopefully keep them honest all 4 quarters which is there problem. This also helps the younger guys to get real experience which is why I love pop cause he lets the young guys play when others aren't healthy. Not a 6 man rotation
Good point PatBev....but we still would be wise not to ignore the elephant in the room which is that we are playing with no adaquate big player backup to Capela who is likely to become more injury prone due to his body build and style of game he plays. Having only one tall guy on the whole friggin team is a recipe for disaster in the playoffs. We need not have Hardin, Ariza, Anderson and others busting their arses on every single play to try to get rebounds against much taller and more physical players. It wears them out and then you see what happens by the end of the second round of the playoffs.
Instead of "clipping the Clippers" (I said something like that on page 1 of the game thread), the Rockets were the team that got trimmed. Can't win them all, as the poet said, but good lord, wasting back to back 50+ point games from Harden is depressing.

Yeah Morey definitely embarrassed himself recently. All this unwarranted GS talk in the middle of December. What a joke. He should be busy getting this team some depth so this losing streak doesn't get out of hand, and figuring out why the hell Bobby ****ing Brown is on this NBA roster at all. Let alone picked over Canaan. D'antoni and his coaching staff also seem to be defensively inept. I'm genuinely disappointed with the way this team looks. And before one says something about "hurr durr 25-6." I EXPECTED this team to be this good, because I have always known how good are recent acquisitions(Tuckes, LMAM, CP3) have been in the NBA for years now. As soon as the summer was concluded, I said this team would have a top 5 D and O. Them slipping out of the top 10 on defense is a huge indictment on the coaching staff. Even before the slip, the Rockets were near the bottom in the league in he kinds of shots allowed(3's and layups). That is coaching 100%. This team has too much defensive talent to not be elite.
Without the pick and roll option with Capela it makes Rockets much easier to defend. We need to get anyone that is able to do P&R because none of our people can other than Nene midly and Capela
