Dwight Howard & James Harden....Slow Train Comin' And to think we have them as team mates for YEARS to come....folks these ARE the Good Ole Days ! Time to GO Rockets crazy ! Can we show up in OK City ?..that is the toughest of these games imo.
George Karl: Buying or selling the Rockets are the team to beat in the West? Selling that but buying the Rockets. Reason: Patrick Beverley. Didn't think the Rockets had PG play to compete in the West but his attitude turned me on. I like how this team has come together. To win the west? Not ready to buy that. They'll make noise, great opponent, could win a round, maybe two but don't think they'll win the West.
Thanks. Love his facial expression at 1:30 mark before he mentioned Rockets. It looked like he was about to j*zz. LOL
NBAtv still sucks. last night they had Kamla, Baron Davis , and Jon Barry. here were there Player Of The Week picks: Trevor Ariza, Joakim Noah, Lebron James in their "Sunday Feast" week in review, they didn't feature one Rockets storyline.
You must have missed it. It was their opening story line of the segment. Brent Barry got asked about his former team and was signing their praise and Baron Davis chimed in with a lot of positive chemistry comments. At least the version I saw ~ 930 AM
Screw ESPN. They fabricate rumors and create hype to boost ratings. I swore by them in the 90s and early 2000s but at this point I rarely tune in. I rank them up there with Fox News.
We got our praise from both networks last night. They're talking about us more (whether it be positive or negative) which means we are making some noise . GO ROCKETS!
When Steven A. Smith started to orally stroke the Rockets, you could hear Sage Steel (avid Laker fan/Howard hater) moan and groan with hurt. When Steven A said Harden is a superstar she responded with "ooo".. that one must have hurt the most lol
Lol definitely not. thats actually cari champion and that "ohhhh" is something she always does whenever Stephen a or skip are about to make a "big" statement. Nothing against the rockets or harden. No Dwight is a different story.
I DVR'd all the ESPN shows and the NBATV stuff today because I thought the Rockets would be talked about a lot today because of a huge week with wins over Miami Pacers and Blazers. Nope. On the major talking head shows, ZERO ****s were given about the Rockets' accomplishments. The head lines were dominated by the Bulls win over Miami and Phil Jackson maybe going to the Knicks. I nominate this thread be changed to "ESPN and TV HATE" until further notice. Maybe Rockets will get the shine tomorrow closer to the showdown against the Thunder.
They actually showed more highlights of Heat-Bulls game and Lakers-thunder game, and both of those highlights were ahead.
This team has to win a title if they truly want recognition from the national media. However, it's been humorous to say the least that the Lakers have been bumped from the TV slot a few times in favor the Rockets.
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Jfwp2mBZCUc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> i'm on spring break and am amped up for this team, so naturally im sitting here finding old stuff to keep the thrill alive this is really old, but an emotionally driven nelly has us winning the west that would be so awesome to shut up cari, sas, and skip in the next few months we're almost there. let's get it done REDNATION!!!!!
Definitely we're going to lose sometime, but the good thing about this streak and being the best team since 2014 started is it's gotten the team to believe in themselves and lock into the game plan. And also given us fans who have waited this long additional impetus to rally around the team and propel the team even further. Last night's game was an example--without the crowd, they would have stopped short or POR's will would not have flagged.
