The guy I really want is hakeem warrick. I always hear JVG talking about how the PF position in the western conference has evolved to a rebounding SF, a la Shawn Marion. Hakeem Warrick is just that. Warrick also has the sick athleticism, and the same height/ weight. Marion is 6' 7 228, while Warrick is 6'8 220. I realy think Warrick is the kind of player JVG wants as a 4. If we couldget him, then we could platoon badiane and warrick at the 4, two athletic young guys who will be here for a long time. In fact, we could even have warrick and badiane 3 and 4, making us much more athletic in the front court. I'm telling you guys, i think warrick is like the next marion, an athletic 4, ideal for our conference.

Yep. And that's exactly what they'll do. I imagine the Rockets will package this pick and, if necessary, a future pick and Weatherspoon's expiring contract and go after Stromile Swift.

Chandler would be nice, but let's face it, Chicago ain't gowanns to let him go.

So? Scott Padgett and Ben Wallace are both listed at 6-9 240.

Artest is a pretty freakish specimen. Artest has some awesome foot speed and perimeter skills to go along with the 6-7 245 frame.

I wouldn't mind Warrick as an infusion of athleticism. A 2nd rounder to look at would be Lawrence Roberts- good rebounder, a little less than ideal size, and not a superstar ceiling, but could be a Haslem-like pickup.

hey, how does channing frye from arizona, lawerence roberts from msu, or ivan mcfarlin from osu.. i think they would all be good pickups and realistic enough.

the idea of julius hodge is great though.

    Just my opinions of Course.

Granger would be great. He is silky smooth, strong, pretty quick, and tough His handles are descent as he played point guard a few games for the lobos. He is used to bigger bodies as he played PF, but he played a lot on the outside as well and his shoot is good from behind the arc. A more offensive minded better coached Tmo in my opinion. A SF for sure.

I like Channing Frye as well. A good fundemental player, taller then siemen, warrick, or lee from florida. Not the freak athelically that Warrick is but a better position for PF. Warrick is too slow of foot or too light to play PF in my opinion.

The second round I think is going to be deep this year with the age limit looming.

If we select who NBADRAFT.NET(C.J. Miles http://www.nbadraft.net/profiles/cjmiles.asp), which would be great for this team I think to have some youth at guard, has us for in the first I look for us to try and get one of the young PF in the second like Blantche or Lorbek. Unless Bad is really ready then Miles or Daniel Ewing would be great.

I am happy with our position as we can draft someone that does not need to step in right away but the draft should be deep enough to get someone who could if need be.

Just not Ville... that kids has great potential but no heart. No roberts either... I do not like his defense.

Ok, gotta stick up for the UNC guys. Curious, why don't you see him as a PF? In my mind, he's going to become a Swift with a better attitude and jump shot.

Oh yeah, and you better have a top 3 pick if you want to sniff him when he comes out.

I'd like to see us pick up Juan Mendez in the second round. He's from tiny Niagara, but he is a player, and he put up huge stats this year. he averaged 23.5 points, 10.6rebounds, and two blocks a game this year. He's 6'8" and weighs 245, so he's not the tallest guy, but he's got decent size. Anyways, I'd like to see him get some attention from us.
