IF and When the Rockets trade him, Get ready for those bad contract(s). They will get atleast ONE in return because of the money McGrady is making. NO team will take on McGrady without dumping a bad contract on the Rockets.
Whoa, take it easy there tiger. Apparently your sarcasm meter or your sense of humor are doomed to be AVERAGE.
People are getting caught up in your wordage and not what I believe you're trying to say. I agree that this team is a "pretender". Will we make playoffs with Yao? Yes, advance to later rounds? Very possible. Win a title? I think not. Morey has done a lot with a little and is a fantastic gm but I agree were not a real threat for a title. This is why I think rox mishandled the tmac thing. We should have showcased him (as this year is a wash anyway) and raised value and morey could have worked his magic on a dumb team. But 7 minute mac will garner no attention whatsoever. Don't be surprised if you don't like what we get for mac
You sound like we're going to trade McGrady away for the sake of trading him, and this means we'll take bad contracts. You are an idiot. Even the Knicks didn't take on bad contracts when they got rid of Marbury, and McGrady is superior to Marbury and the Rockets are smarter than the Knicks. So why do you expect us to take on bad contracts? We always have the option of just letting his contract expire in the end, and if we take on bad contracts, it will only be if we get something really nice for taking on those contracts.
The guy is a r****d who is throwing a hissy fit because the Rockets are moving on from his mancrush. None of his posts have a shred of logic or even basic common sense in them.
Every year there are only a small handful of teams that "experts" will say can actually compete for a championship. This year, LA, DEN, DAL, BOS, CLE, and maybe ORL make the list. Every other team has holes, bad contracts, injuries, etc. Does that mean every other team in the league should just mail it in? Forget about the season? Tank for a better draft pick? No....that's why they play the games. I agree that the Rocket's chances are slim, but to get down on this team because they are "doomed to be AVERAGE" is an insult to the guys on the team who are busting their tails and (so far) are getting it done. Regarding Mac, the Rockets are doing what is best for the team. Showcasing him for extended minutes is a detriment to the rest of the team. Morey won't screw this up....if letting him expire is what's best for the team, that's what he'll do.
They are doing what is best for Adelman. There is no evidence that it is best for the team to get rid of TMac I watched him play against the Clippers and he is far and above a better offensive player and passer than any other Rocket... of course his defense sucked.
Uh, no. We'll let him sit, and if we get a deal we like, we'll trade him, but we're not just accepting the first deal offered so that the bum is no longer a Rocket. If we really were trading him for the sake of trading him, Eddy Curry would be a Rocket right now.
It doesn't matter if he is a better passer or scorer. If you give up more points than you score, you still lose. T-Mac currently gets burned easier than combustible trash.
Fixed it for you. aelliot must be bored out of his mind. I've never seen him go back and forth with a poster of this caliber before. But thanks for the laughs. It's cracking me up.
want a cookie... You knwo and everyone else knows this current roster with Yao will not win the Championship
Uh helped win 22 games in a row. We had a chance for a couple years there, but we just didn't make it. Current roster+yao will be a good team, but really can't challenge the lakers.
