as sorry as this team is, I think Harden would have us as at least the 7th seed right now even with all these injuries...I think we’d have a record similar to Portland and Denver atm

 

Harden + MDA + Morey would have this sorry ass team in the 4th spot.

They have never been lower than 4th. Ever.

And Harden has had some bad rosters to carry on his back. Harden is no stranger to injury decimated rosters.

I think b/c I started watching the Rockets in an era with "The Whopper" Billy Paultz that this season feels strangely cozy to me, like a familiar old blanket. Ahhhh. The Rockets stink. I know that smell! It means Mom will bring out some hot chocolate to me as I sit in front of the TV rooting for an unlikely 20-point comeback.

 

I agree. You might get lucky and get an AD-in-LA season like last year. More often, you'll get a typical AD-missing-games season.

There's something to be said for having most of your guys healthy at key times.
