52 wins...in The West...isn't good enough? We're talking fifty-2 wins and calling the Rox names? 52? Sounds like a good 'pick-up' to me!

Haha, this was the dumbest line I noticed in this article also, but I have to agree...With Francis, James, and Brooks ahead of Rafer, there IS NO depth behind Alston. For the last time, Rafer is NOT a playmaker. He can handle the ball but rarely does he penetrate and dish to an open teammate, because well...HE CAN'T!

We almost beat them with no bench and a hobbling yao. now with the likes of francis, james, scola, wells and battier, we've pretty much left them in our dust.

Think how good that team would be with a dominant center.

Do people think that the articles posted at RealGM are written by professionals ?

You can go to this link and ask them if you, too, can "become a writer."

At this point in their careers... Fisher>Almond
Also, I think we win that series if the Jazz don't have Fisher. That loss alone should put us ahead of them. I suppose they assume that Williams and Boozer will improve with age and AK will have a bounce back season. But RGM doesn't have that kind of depth in its articles.

Why do people keep saying we're old!? The Spurs are the oldest team in the league, we don't hear anyone saying they need to address the fact that they don't have any athletic players.

All we had to address is depth and get players who could score the ball without having T-Mac spoon feed them. Well mission accomplished.

like i said, until we do something in the playoffs, most people will call us over-hyped, underachieving and first-round busts.

u can't knock what they're saying b/c we're "speculating" how good we're gonna be (though i think we're good enough to reach the WCF at least). but u can't diss them for saying this. we haven't proven jack.

You mention that you feel that the ROCKETS are good enough to reach the WCF.. that would mean they would have to eliminate either SA, Phoenix, or Dallas...which one(s) do you think they can beat in a 7 game series?

    First the article said ...

    Then he said this.

Which is it? Do we need youth and quickness or do we need a leader and an identity. Another crap article.

Why are sports writers generally so crappy?
