Uhhhhh, Adrian Griffin was not here when we got T-Mac, he was here during the Francis era. We didn't have the problems we have *now* at that time, we had a completely different set of problems to deal with. What do you think JVG is, God? You expect him to see 2 years into the future?

    You hapless whiners.

Adrian Griffin was never healthy for us. We traded him away in the Deke deal. That was a good move for us and helped us a lot last year.

I just hope that JVG plays Bogans once he's familiar with the system. Anyone else think that it'll be at least 3 weeks before he gets even regular playing time (if coach is happy with him)??

griffin isn't a bogans type player. dude is known for his defence and puts up ryan bowen type numbers.

    Imagine this Rockets "All-Defense" Lineup:

    Moochie
    Bogans
    Rybo
    Hayes
    Deke

The final score would be 48 - 10, Rockets loss.

Actually, this is what CD says in this article on the Rockets website.
    http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/Carroll_Dawson_Addresses_Media-167670-822.html
    (you have t oscroll down)
    (on any future plans)
“Guys, I’ve been trying for a while. If you’ve noticed, there’s been very few trades this year. I don’t know what the deal is, but it’s been an unusual year. There’s still some talk going on and we’re still going to keep trying because this has been a disappointment with as many injuries as we’ve had. We’ve been trying to fill some holes, but it’s been real hard to do because you can’t trade injured players. That’s an impossibility, and the things that have been offered to us haven’t been in the best interest of our team. This is the first one and I hope there is more, but who knows?”
Perhaps he means its difficult to trade injured players ?

Bogans will be an upgrade from Ryan Bowen and can be a useful backup for T-Mac. Giving up Baxter for him won't hurt us. I just hope he will be fit enough to play for us.

Sometimes complimentary players get a LOT better when they play with great players, ala Mario Elie.

Bogans could be that type of player, Baxter is no loss, though I think he should be playing more as he was far more productive than some of our PFs.

    :)

That's a lot of good information in that article. Glad to hear that Sura will start practicing with the team next week, that's awesome news. :)

If I'm to judge by what he said, they're not rushing to trade Swift anytime soon, and they're definitely not tanking, to the dismay of many losers around here. DA and Barry could be on the trading block. We could see a 2 for 1 trade in the backcourt happen, possibly (this is just my conjecture). He has been hampered for a long time and he's only getting his trade options now that people are getting healthy.

bogans, restricted free agent = good potential trading piece (for trading up the draft or sign and trade).

    bogans-baxter trade winner.
