The shot looks worse than ever. My wet dream of Udoka signing Brooks just to have a scapegoat for the youngsters—going “look at all the money we paid this guy, and STILL I’ll bench him because he sucks! Let that be a reminder to you too that no matter where you were drafted or how much you were paid, you have to earn your rotation spot every day you come in for work”—remains in play.

Dillon Brooks and Fred VV are slower paced players, the game would look a tad different.

Brooks was a signing to complement Brook Lopez.....now as a signing of its own....not impressed.

Clutch can change the title of this thread to "Dillon Brooks: Can someone explain to me why he has become Clutchfans favorite whipping boy?" and goes 500 pages. :D

For all that people talk about Amen's shooting mechanics being bad, Dillon Brooks' might be even worse :p

Brooks plays like a half-black Shane Battier with Harden's eating game.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

“Why would this make me feel better? Hart knows his role and is 20x the player Brooks is!”

Meh. Hart is flat out not as good a defender as Brooks. He's shot 0.8% better from 3pt for his career on a lower volume. Hart competed against bench players last season. I think there's a decent chance Brooks' shooting bounces back but Hart is not going to be 2nd team all defense. By year 3 Brooks will be making less money.

Arguable who's had the better career, but this is not making me lose sleep. I think they're both overpaid.

I mean Josh Hart isn't a all-defensive level player. He's a good defender but not all defensive team good

I certainly wouldn't want either of them at their contract, but if hart was getting something like 4/60 i would want him. Brooks is not someone i would want at the minimum. Yes, brooks is a decent defender but super low IQ players are basically ALWAYS going to be a net negative, and it doesn't get much lower IQ then brooks.
