Nah dogg. They’re closer to a Steve & Cat than a Steph & Klay. Even that’s high praise as of now.

Yeah, fair, this is pretty damn small. Kinda curious, I'm going to go ask my two stats pals what they think about it.

Actually - the common link here between the Warriors, the Celtics, and the last dynasty(the Spurs), is they all come from the Greg Poppovich coaching tree…and all 3 have been successful because they adapted a system to their personnel NOT the other way around. That’s why Coach Pop will have a team that takes a ton of threes one year, then takes a ton of mid range jumpers the year he had Aldridge and Derozan. You see it with the Heat too - Coach Spo’s team this year doesn’t play anything like his title teams because he adapts to suit the strengths of his players.

You could also argue that is why those teams have a tendency to find “diamond in the rough” players because they focus on amplifying the strengths of young players and hiding their weaknesses rather than trying to mold them into a vision of a player they want to fit their system.

If Jabari is on the rockets anything is possible. Draft a few more defenders that can shoot and Sengun would be one lucky guy.

I would say ref support equals overall league support, overall media support.

Who in their right mind would say Fkk Green if he had any respect for this franchise......there ain't much.

    Draft Smart
    Fill roster with "bucket getters"
    Play good team defense
    Motion offense
    Good coach
    Have fun at parade

GS was basically the Chicago triangle mixed with Pops/SA motion offense. Like others have said GS enjoys the luxury of having premier jump shooting especially from 3 which added a complex wrinkle for a defense. For the Rockets I see more of a Lob City/GS hybrid when fully constructed - quick switching from 5 out to 41 motion offense that can get up and down the court FAST, hit their open 3's and treat the fans to a highlight show each night. I think for Houston putting pressure at the rim with alley oops, dunks and relentless dribble penetration from multiple players is just as good as GS shooting a bunch of 3's especially in game deciding moments. Where Houston can learn from GS and BOS is in the use of the midrange game as a weapon. 3 level scorers from multiple positions and solid team defense will get you there.

.Dont get cute in this draft. Pick whichever big is left from the top 3 and they will all help fulfill this type of vision vs adding to the glut of guards/wings the team already has and figuring out playing time and the clashing that could occur. Stone has to be a smart manager he cant just throw darts and expect the coach and team to figure it out. BPA always, but when things are equal you have to check off your fit with the team and the symbiosis of the roster.

I personally think we are headed towards a dynasty team. I can feel it.
