Glad that he's taking ownership of the starting postion and a position as a leader on this team.

Even though everyone think D-Mo, Jones, or White will end up starting at the 4 spot, those 3 guys will be better off in the longrun having to beat out Patterson for minutes as rookies.

It will especially help the team out defensively, which is where most rookies struggle. Seeing that the way they are going to get minutes is by outperforming Patterson on that end will set a pretty good precident for their futures.

Ppat has star potential, and he's just bothered by injury last season. He's actually got pretty good post moves. The shots are a little off mostly due to lack of lift, again remember him playing injured last year.

When he posted up Blake Griffin last season, it's the first time I see Griffin having trouble holding the ground. I almost feel Ppat is too strong for him. Can't wait to see the injury free Ppat showing up.

Read up PPat... most of the board here thinks your not very good and the rookies are going to be better. They are going to try and steal your lunch money man, don't let em.

I like his attitude. Competition at the four will make them all better. And it will definitely be one of the most interesting subjects of the early season.

I'm confident that he can become a strong defensive role player like Udonis Haslem. He got a lot of hate last season, but he'll be a solid pro.

Yeah I can't believe so ready for Ppatt to fail and have their "golden boy prospect" DMo take over.

Gotta remember Patterson is still a prospect himself. 1 year help the team in his rookie season second year was limited but still contributed. Atleast he's proven he can bring something to the table Patterson may or may not have the Luis salsa, or the ice cream scoop down to a science but I think statistic wise he's fully capable of replacing Scola, and hid defense is a plus.
Expect Patterson, Dmo, and Jones to share minutes.
