Man I tell you what, there are like hardly any good looking power dancers.

 

So I totally just saw my ex-girlfriend on the RPD page and my jaw dropped to the floor. I had no idea

 

those power dancers didnt look too good in the pictures, what happened to sweet good looking asian girl from last year?? Rockets need to do a better on searching hotties, Can Morey be the GM of the PPD team too??

Not to blow anything out of proportion, but that Brent Barry quote where he got on to Ron Artest a bit for speaking of training camp in the past tense makes him seem a bit dickish. I mean, I don't think it is lackadaisical to separate training camp and preseason in your mind. Artest is going to be as hard working as anyone on this team, I'm sure, so it seems completely unnecessary to call him out on that. Oh well, it hardly matters, but I hate it when people give me a hard time because of stupid semantic crap like that. At least Ron didn't punch him in the face.

 

Just a suggestion:
Don't bring the bad stuff or rumors from this board to the players or public. they can only do harm to Rockets.

Some of those power dancers look a bit of old (not saying the age), but I do not think they are hot, if they are, maybe only a few.

 

Non-issue... Barry said in the article that he spoke to Artest about it so it's not like he was talking trash behind his back.. he could've misinterpreted the comment that Artest made but it's good to know that he'll go up to the guy and talk about it.. that's the leadership that we're missing

 

That's how I felt too. That and when Brent was like "I don't think Shane understands the financial impact of an 82 game season" and said he wouldn't be commissioner or whatever he wanted

Man, that RPD page has some annoying navigation. A prime example of getting too fancy with your web design "just because".

Anyway, these pictures are definitely not flattering. The RPD's work out at my gym on Thursday nights and half of them don't even look this bad in their sweat pants and no make up. Obviously I'm using the term "bad" within the context of professional cheerleaders

And I wouldn't worry about the Barry stuff. I'm sure he handled it with more tact than the way it was presented to the media.

 

I just love that these posts came right after the other.

Well, I agree that it's a non-issue. I said as much in my post, but I would like to address your statement of "that's the leadership that we're missing." While I agree that leadership is something this team could use more of, I don't think that correcting a veteran, who has a track record of working hard, about whether or not it is accurate to consider the preseason as part of training camp and then talk to the media about it would be considered a good example of leadership.

Anyway, if I was on the team and I saw Barry do that, it wouldn't make me think he was a great leader, it would make me think he pays way too much attention to semantics.
