    I know some people who played a whole year in FOOTBALL with a broken finger.

    That is a stupid anology. Certain football players can play with entire CASTS over their hand (like lineman) and still be effective. If your QB (who needs his fingers to throw the ball) had a broken finger, chances are they would be on the sideline. If Cat has a broken finger on his shooting hand then there is a reason for concern in terms of his shooting.

    That's right....my analogy is right on the money...and I am steaming mad now.

    The player I know..was a wide receiver and played the entire year with a broken middle finger on his dominant hand...so there.

    As a wide-out, your thumb and index finger on both hands are the most important, if you are catching the ball correctly. Unless it is your pinky, having a broken finger on your shooting hand can seriously mess up your shot, not to mention dribbling, rebounding, receiving passes, etc.

    I dont want see Moochie. He doesnt seem to know what he needs to on the court. We need Cat for this one, he can play some defense at least.

    You cant be serious. His shooting arm finger is broken. And the guy is playing through it. Have you ever tried playing through a broken finger? Playing through a badly jammed finger is hard enough. ESPECIALLY WHEN ITS ON YOUR SHOOTING HAND!

    And I think it would be much harder for a basketball player (especially a scorer) to play through a broken finger then any football player (except a QB). it

    Mobley played fantastic defense. He knew he was limited offensively by that hurt finger so he put forth all his energy on the defense end. all heart out there. MacBeth, can you say...know, I'll say it...smartass.

    Thank you!! I'm sick and tired of ppl calling him selfish too. I think he just gets caught up in the game too much and becomes over enthusiastic.. maybe plays a little too far above himself, thus the bad decisions or bad shots. But it's cause he really really wants to win. But yeah, his passing could use a little improvement.
