If a tabloid media source reporting a Kevin McHale quote should be taken at face value, why shouldn't we do the same for an NBA video of Jeremy Lin?
Honestly they should be asking Asik about this. He more than Lin should have been on the floor last night.
Basically Lin is saying McHale doesn't really like his brand of basketball and that Lin is happy as long as he plays his style of basketball during his time on the court whether that be 20 minutes or 40 minutes.
I think that video was very telling. CP even tweeted "bogus" after the game which I don't think was directed at the refs.
Kevin McHale's mind: where the ~hot hand~ scores 0 pts and the defensive powerhouse grabs 4rebs in 27 minutes. Popovich, who?
Change my tampon, teehee! So funny! So funny! I die laughing over here! Of course people aren't going to celebrate a loss. You had these same fans b****ing and crying in one of these other games recently that the Rockets WON, b****ing because Lin didn't play much in the 4th. Boo ****ing hoo already. Maybe you Lin fans need to change your tampon. See, I can be funny too! The next time you (or others) praise McHale might be the first. For having a dumbass coach and dumbass assistants and a dumbass GM, Rockets are doing alright. Obviously not as great if Lin played all 48 minutes and not as bad if Lin was benched all 48 minutes.
Man i swear some of these threads and the post are like Deja Vu.... It seems as if the same thread and the same post have popped up every month... Gets real old real quick... T_Man
Complaining is what agents are for. Jeremy should focus on the time he's on the court. His agent should be ripping mchale a new one behind the scenes.
This is chandler response to Mchale's comment about his no impact defensively on dirk after the Dallas blowout. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/r3GeFua9MRU?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> and this is lin's sarcasm, kinda of dig at Mchale's love for Beverly's energy. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/sgaD3-0Hu8Y?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Very telling indeed...
Lin is putting his brand of basketball over what the team needs to get wins and make the playoff push...that is the problem....Lin is a BRAND after the whole LINSANITY fiasco...this guy's ego is HUGE and you people can not see it... imagine having fans in EVERY arena you go to....every game is a home game for Jeremy Lin almost...almost kobe-esque...jordan-esque.....Lin is a hot ticket, you think he doesnt know this?...you think it does not get to his head....he has the biggest ego on the team and people on this forum can not seem to notice it....the only problem is that his game is nowhere NEAR his ego...this is why he gets benched....he does not play TEAM ball...he plays LINSANITY all the time....that is the only way he can keep his brand alive is to play "his brand of basketball".....the man said it himself.... if any other player said this you guys would be calling him selfish and egotistical...but Lin is a class act? i am tired of the Lin experiment i hope we ship his ass out and bring in a real point guard without all of the Lin only Fans...this team would fare much better....Lin has the go but not the skills...
so who is at fault? either morey who didn't trade him or mchale who kept starting him? stop blaming anyone but morey or mchale.
LOL. Everyone has been fooled, and only sharp mind-reader like you has discovered that. Quickly, write to DM, Les, and McHale and share your ground breaking discovery. Or, you can just sue him.
I did notice at a few points the whole bench stood up cheering a play except for Jeremy. Not sure if he was just resting cause he expected to get back in or what. Also saw him look over at mchale a few times seemingly confused or expecting to be put back in. I imagine Lin is getting tired of having to prove himself to yet another authority figure who just won't believe in the results Jeremy has produced. Everyone since high school seems to think Lin's successes won't continue in the future.
