and oh btw, how was JL's D in the 4th? against one of the best scoring PGs in the league? unless beverley is absolutely on fire, he should not be in the game in 4th. it gives the team a worst chance of winning, end of story.

I agree about Asik being in the game, he just grabs every rebound I think he is amazing.

I have to give it to Mchale tonight I was glad to see Lin and Asik in the game at the end. I hope he realized something after the last game.

I thought Lin was going to play more tonight because he does better on bigger guards than Bev.

This is garbage. If Jeremy Lin was black or even white, he actually would have gotten a scholarship and wouldn't have been forced to play for Harvard, then he would have been a legitimate NBA prospect and actually got drafted. Drafted where, who knows. If Jeremy Lin was black, "experts" would be quick to talk about his upside being a 23 year old athletic PG...not talk about him like he was a finished 36 year old product the first bad game he had.

He has gotten where he has because of extra hard work...and with a little bit of good luck finally. After all the handicaps he's had to face in his career due to his race, I have no problem that he's slightly overpaid, he finally gets a break and simply minded folks still don't think he deserves it and wants to take it away from him. It's sad and shameful.

This was the first time I have seen the Lin harden PNR in some games I think. Or have we done it again in recent games & I just haven't noticed it? It feels like I haven't seen it in forever.

Back to basketball, when Beverley is on and Lin is off, I would like to see Beverley in the fourth until the 6 to 5 minute mark.

University of Toronto researchers Jennifer L. Berdahl and Ji-A Min conducted several experiments to look into this so-called "bamboo ceiling."

    What they found:

The dominant East Asian employee was more disliked than the non-dominant East Asian employee, the non-dominant White employee, and the dominant White employee.

A separate trial showed that participants held descriptive stereotypes of East Asians as being competent, cold, and non-dominant, while another showed that the most valued expectation of East Asians was that they "stay in their place."

East Asians who don't conform to racial stereotypes are less likely to be popular in the workplace. "In general, people don't want dominant co-workers," says Berdahl, "but they really don't want to work with a dominant East-Asian co-worker.

I like your list except Lin is #9 and everyone is moved one spot down behind him.
When Lin comes back next year he will be Tony Parker light. In 2-3 years he will be a bigger Tony Parker.

Definitely wouldn't have heard Carmelo talk about Lin's contract if Lin were black. That was a disgraceful comment on Carmelo's part. So nice of him to look out for his billionaire owner's trust fund money.

The only profession I can see you making the kind of money you do while acting the idiotic way you do is sales. Are you a salesman? Nothing against them...that's how I started.

But you're an idiot. Period. Congrats on working "with" successful people. You mean you work FOR them. Big difference! :)

PS when I was 23 I made 6 figures as a salesman. Stop acting like an ass and I will stop crushing you. I'm 34 now and my net worth/income is irrelevant to this discussion. But, as neither of us have a way to verify the other person's story, I find it highly likely I make WAY more money than your bosses do.

I worked in finance. He could definitely work there too. And he thinks I criticize him for disagreeing with him. He may not notice he's the only guy I go after.
Plenty of people here don't think Lin is very good or a good fit for the team. I don't agree but certainly doesn't make me upset.

I work at the corporate office for one of the major oil companies, so the chances of you making more than my bosses are highly unlikely. going back and forth about what you have is honestly pointless even though i highly doubt you were making 6 figures as a salesman at 23. So thats all i really have to say about that.

It's funny how you claim some sense of professionalism, but yet your vocabulary limits you to insults and negative connotation in order to get your point across. Intelligent people don't have to prop themselves up with arguments by calling other idiots or stupid phrasing like im "crushing" you, hence to why you've never seen me directly flame another individual on these boards by calling them insulting names. I have other ways to get my points across. You sure can't work in the business world, because people having opposite opinions of you wouldn't get to you so much if you did. As you see in all of my responses i've never came down to your level, and for the most part i've ignored your ignorant harassment in some of your posts. This is a public forum, everyone has their own opinions, and everyone will not agree. But insulting others on the account of the fact that they don't see a player the same way you do, is outright childish. So keep your outlandish comments and name calling coming. It honestly does not bother me one bit. I'll continue to have my opinions and you will continue to have yours. Good day. :)
