Outplaying Lin? Maybe I am completely blind but I honestly just don't see it.... Advanced stats please! Anyway if that's the case, why don't we just make Beverly the starter and Lin off the bench. I would be less frustrated then.

Nice, thanks! The site owner needs a separate Lin site now. And all of you LOFHs and clutch, pls just post this link in threads to LOFs so eventually you will get rid of them.

Why wouldn't it work? Worked for Yao, at least to a certain extent.

No chance. Beverley is a terrific impact player & I love his defensive intensity and energy, but Lin is miles better as a player.

Has everyone forgotten the OKC game? Bev doesn't have that in his locker IMO.

I've noticed Clutch does have it in for Lin/LOF's though so not surprised he said that.

That's an extremely run down place compared to Clutchfans, It's like someone crossing out Yao's name and replacing it with Lin. After experiencing Clutchfans, it's going to be hard to get them to go to a site like that with little traffic. They need some super nerd to create a mega Lin site.

I donated some $$ to cover for my part that added to his server costs lol. Seriously though, the LOFHs instead of dissing and trolling LOFs should just post links to the above Lin only forum and get rid of them that way.

Well I was expecting even more PC answer from Lin, the fact he said he will continue playing his brand of basketball is telling.

Remember how people refused to believe that Lin was for real despite the fact that Lin put up good numbers at the NBA level for about a quarter of a season?

Those same people are now ready to hand over the PG reins to Patrick Beverley, who has no NBA sample size to speak of. But I guess he did shine in a 2nd-tier European tournament, which is totally the same thing.

It seems that the primary requirement to be the Rockets' PG, in these people's minds, is to not be Lin. First, it was Scott Machado, then it was Toney Douglas. Maybe thrown in Shaun Livingston in there too. Patrick Beverley is just the latest version.

Basically, Lin is saying that he doesn't like, nor does he agree with McHale's decision. He is not happy about it at all, but since McHale is the coach, and Lin has no choice but to go along with his decision.

Oh, he is happy that his teammate got the opportunity.

This. you trust your player and players will trust you. it's a two way street. if you don't trust your players, how can you expect your player to trust you, let alone, respect you.

He can say that to the coach in the office, behind closed door. Coaches should not criticize players in character or mindset in public, and players should never complain about other players or playing time in public.

This, but I don't think Lin will ever speak up. But his stat will show and tell whether McHale's decision to sit him at the 4th quarter is right. He doesn't need to speak up, just let the numbers do the talk and see who prevails.
