Yao plays year-round basketball, so we’ve always kind of had him on a maintenance program. When he gets a chance to back off and have an offseason where he can really work on his body, that’s when you’re going to see dramatic improvements in muscle size and strength, you’re going to see his cardiovascular stamina improve and you’re going to see his foot quickness improve. Right now, he’s so committed to the Chinese National Team. " So the good news is that there's still alot of room for improvement for Yao. The bad news is that we probably won't see dramatic improvements this year because of the Olympics =(
