Rockets.com: Fans Invited to Press Conference Wednesday!!!

I was there. They didn't boo either of them. In fact Gaines got a nice round of applause.

 

Just for the record, there wasnt any booing! They were all yelling "Boo-urns"

 

No...the first time they mentioned the former Rockets they were booed. Later on, I think it was Van Gundy thanked the threesome and they got a polite round of applause.

 

I was at the press conference.

Before the conference started I could have sworn I saw Malick Badiane off to the side in Rockets practice garb. Anyone else notice him?

 

yeah i thought i saw him there too.

 

I thought I was crazy. "That couldn't be Malick!"

Dude looks freakishly long.

 

I was there it was awsome, people were chanting "T-Mac, T-Mac, T-Mac" & after that we started yelling "MVP, MVP, ....." So many people showed up they had to open up another section. T-Mac got pretty emotional he even went out and said he is planing on ending his carrier in houston & that got me realllly hyped up!! It was just a all around good time, seeing our new superstar so happy about being a rocket and talking about winning it all. On a side note i also liked Les Alexander, he's a real class act.

 

yeah also the goal in the back was lowered...and it there was like an And 1 label on the backboard..when we were going home, we saw two And 1 Streetball buses..the tour bus i guess. And there were two guys standing in the back lol. TMAC!!! Go Rockets! I thought it was cool to see Tmac getting emotional lol.

 

So how did the Orlando press conference go?

 

yeah the and 1 mix tour is coming to houston it will be here i believe this weekend and it's at the toyota center so they must be getting ready for that.

 

yea the and 1 guys were sitting in the area they wouldnt let regular fans sit in they had and 1 shirts on... during the press conference the host that screams oooo baby all the time left

 

I met a couple of them the last time they were here in town when the came out to party on a sunday night. People recongnized them just as much as the regular NBA players.

 

yea malick looks really long he looked to have had a good workout its good to see him there working.. the press conference was so much fun tho i did not expect that many people.

Reece Gaines is sporting the Rockets #4 jersey, I know it might be a longshot because the Rockets did not win a championship with him, but should the Rockets retire Barkley's number 4? or maybe make Gaines take another number?
